This new home near Kilkenny is designed around a series of calm, walled garden spaces that bring light and landscape into everyday life. A long stone wall leads to a welcoming entrance courtyard, where a fair-faced concrete beam frames the threshold. Inside, a roof-lit central hall unfolds in four directions towards open, glazed living areas that connect seamlessly with terraces beyond. Upstairs, the staircase leads to quiet rooms and a bathroom that capture distant views — a house shaped by light, material honesty, and a sense of quiet enclosure.
